News and Notices

Space To Live In - June 2nd
Our next worship night "Space To Live In" will be taking place on the 2nd of June starting at 7 pm and running through to 9:30 pm. Space To Live In is a night of extended worship, prayer, reflection and waiting. We aim to create a Space for people to spend time in God's presence. This will be replacing our usual Encounter service that day.

Bring and share - 9th June
Join us for a bring-and-share meal after the 10:30am service on Sunday, June 9th, in the large hall. It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy delicious food and great company. Please bring a dish to share as we gather together to connect, celebrate, and strengthen our community. We look forward to seeing you there!

Baptisms - 7th July
Whether you're considering baptism or simply want to witness this special moment, we invite you to be a part of our community on this joyous occasion. If you're interested in getting baptised yourself, don't hesitate to reach out to our office for more information.

Men's Canoe Trip
All men, with or without their young people or children, are invited to join in a canoeing trip from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat West with a picnic lunch on the way on the 15th June. Click here for more information and to sign up.
If you would like to include any updates in the weekly bulletin, send them to Adam. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday at 1pm.

Creation Care Service on the 2nd June
On the 2nd June, the Creation Care Team will be leading the all-age service. If possible, please could you bring something natural, i.e. a leaf, flower (not wild!), stone, shell, twig or anything really, All will be revealed! Thank you

Healthy Habits Booklet
John has put together a booklet based on the Healthy Habits series we have been working through in our all-age services, these are available to purchase (at cost price) from the office at £1. This is a great resource for connect group leaders or if you just want to look deeper into some of the healthy habits we have looked at.

Living Out Evening
Join us on Tuesday 11th June 7.30pm at St Andrew's for an evening with Revd Sean Doherty, Principal of Trinity Theological College, and part of an organisation called 'Living out', who are a resource organisation who help people, churches and society talk about faith and sexuality.  There will be a mixture of personal stories, theology and an opportunity for Q&A.  Living Out is committed to helping churches to support same-sex attracted Christians and to teach wisely and compassionately on sexuality.  For more details, and to sign up to this free event, click on the following link https://stastb.churchsuite.com/events/rqai005h

Pastoral Care
As part of our Christian community, we provide mutual support for one another. Much of this happens informally with friends within the church and through the connect groups. However, sometimes people will require more personal support and encouragement either as a 'one-off chat' or on a more ongoing basis. We have a pastoral care team who can provide this type of care. Please contact Nigel Roe (Team Leader) on 07780 994827 or Rosi White on 07426 357967.
