Parish Safeguaring Officer
As a larger church, we want to prioritise creating a safe and nurturing environment for those of all ages who come to St Andrews. In order to continue doing this to the best of our ability, we need a second volunteer safeguarding officer to work alongside our current PSO, Corinne Phillimore. We are looking for someone with good interpersonal skills who is passionate about ensuring everyone who comes to St Andrew's feels safe and welcome. The role will involve developing and implementing key safeguarding procedures and updating our safeguarding database as we work together to ensure every team member has the relevant training and checks they need. For more information, please speak to Corinne Phillimore or email safeguarding@stastb.church

Joint Men's and Women's Breakfast
you are invited to a special joint men and women's breakfast on Saturday 13th July. We will be thinking about walking with God through change. It will be a great opportunity to explore how God takes us through change and what we can do to support each other during times of major change. There will be the usual full English breakfast. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will cater for them. We will start at 9am and finish by 1030am. You can sign up here.

Calling St Andrew's Women
We are looking for women interested in being involved with the women's ministry. If you are great with ideas and love creating opportunities to encourage fellowship and spiritual growth, then it would be great to hear from you. Please get in touch to find out more, share your ideas and get involved! Becmaughan@gmail.com

Healthy Habits Booklet
John has put together a booklet based on the Healthy Habits series we have been working through in our all-age services, these are available to purchase (at cost price) from the office at £1. This is a great resource for connect group leaders or if you just want to look deeper into some of the healthy habits we have looked at.

Baptisms - 7th July
Whether you're considering baptism or simply want to witness this special moment, we invite you to be a part of our community on this joyous occasion. If you're interested in getting baptised yourself, don't hesitate to reach out to our office for more information. The address for the Baptisms is Oakle House, Oakle StreetChurcham, Glos, GL2 8AG, United Kingdom and will be taking place 4pm -7pm with the main service happening 5pm-6pm.

St Andrew's After School Club
At St Andrew's we are excited to be opening our drop-in after school club from September this year. The club will run on Wednesdays from 3:15pm-4:45pm and will offer a range of games, crafts and activities for children as well as refreshments and a space to catch up for parents and carers. We would love to welcome families from St Andrew's to come and join our after school club. We are also in need of two teams of volunteers to alternate with helping with the group fortnightly. This would mainly involve helping to set up and pack down as well as building relationships with the families who come through conversations with both children and adults! For more information or to volunteer, contact Kate by emailing children@stastb.church.

Save the date - Impact Weekend
We have decided to rebrand the church weekend and home to "Impact Weekend" more information will follow in the coming weeks but for now save the date 20th-22nd September 2024.

If you would like to include any updates in the weekly bulletin, send them to Adam. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday at 1pm.

Giving at St Andrew's and St Bartholomew's
Generous giving is an integral part of Christian discipleship. The apostle Paul says that giving is a primary responsibility for Christians: 'But since you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you – see that you also excel in this grace of giving. 2 Cor 8:7. For more information on how to give and where your money goes please download our giving flyer here. Please click here to make a one-off donation or set up a direct debit.

Pastoral Care
As part of our Christian community, we provide mutual support for one another. Much of this happens informally with friends within the church and through the connect groups. However, sometimes people will require more personal support and encouragement either as a 'one-off chat' or on a more ongoing basis. We have a pastoral care team who can provide this type of care. Please contact Nigel Roe (Team Leader) on 07780 994827 or Rosi White on 07426 357967.
