Kintsugi Hope Mental Wellness Course
We are running a free mental wellness course in September called Kintsugi Hope. It aims to encourage emotional well-being and community support. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold to create something more beautiful than before, Kintsugi Hope emphasises that our struggles and brokenness can lead to greater strength and beauty.
Date of Launch: September 11th. For more information on Kintsugi Hope visit,www.kintsugihope.orgalternatively feel free to get in touch with the office.

Space To Live In - Save the Date

Our next worship night "Space To Live In" will be taking place on the 1st of September starting at 7 pm and running through to 9 pm. Space To Live In is a night of extended worship, prayer, reflection and waiting. We aim to create a Space for people to spend time in God's presence. This will be replacing our usual Encounter service that day.

Newcomers Tea
Our next Newcomers tea will be taking place on Sunday 21st July right after the 10:30am service at St Andrew's in the main church. If you have joined St Andrew's recently and would like to find out more about what goes on, and chat with key members and staff, please feel free to join us.

After School Club
St Andrews is excited to be opening our drop-in after-school club from September this year on Wednesdays from 3:15pm-4:45pm. We need two teams of volunteers to alternate with helping with the group fortnightly. This would mainly involve helping to set up and pack down as well as building relationships with the families who attend through crafts, games and most importantly conversations with both children and adults! For more information or to volunteer, contact Kate by emailingchildren@stastb.church

Our last Encounter evening before the summer is going to be this coming Sunday (21st July) at 6pm. This will be the last Encounter for the summer as we will not be meeting during August. We'll be joining back again on Sunday 1st September for Space to Live In (7-9pm). At the moment, our kitchen team is very small so we would LOVE to welcome some more volunteers onto the team to help either weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Pastoral Care
As part of our Christian community, we provide mutual support for one another. Much of this happens informally with friends within the church and through the connect groups. However, sometimes people will require more personal support and encouragement either as a 'one-off chat' or on a more ongoing basis. We have a pastoral care team who can provide this type of care. Please contact Nigel Roe (Team Leader) on 07780 994827 or Rosi White on 07426 357967.
